We are here to celebrate the life of Sheror Caton Moore; born in Shelby County Alabama June 19, 1943, died September 16, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Obie R Moore, and is survived by her brother Kenneth Caton (Lucretia), sons Obie Moore (Cissie) and Jim Moore (Debbie) granddaughters Mari Collins, Toni Clayton (Tim), Sherry Kington (Daniel) and Dana Brannum. Her great grandchildren; Austin Collins, Logan Collins, Paul Clayton, Silas Clayton, Morgan Brannum, Mallory Brannum, Ali Pappas and Presley Kington.
Sheror worked to bring wholeness to Christians and was an ordained minister, held a bachelor’s and master’s degree in ministry and a doctoral degree in nouthetic Christian counseling. Her award-winning poetry has appeared in several national publications and in the 1990’s she founded Light Unto My Path Ministries in Montevallo, Alabama. However her greatest accomplishment was that of being a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

My forever friend, my crazy, laughing forever friend is rejoicing in heaven. We made each other laugh over anything and everything. I am so glad that I was able to spend some days with her. When it came to Sheror, I never grew up and well, she didn't either. Keep laughing my friend. I love you.
