Mrs. Shirley Diane Short was born November 10, 1951 to Mr. Ira Leon Evans and Mrs. Jessie Evan. She married her best friend in March of 1968. She devoted her life to taking care of her three daughters, husband, grandkids and anyone else she met. Diane loved everyone and always put others ahead of herself. A few years later she became a Pastor's wife. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and never lost faith. She was a friend to many and will be truly missed.

Praying for you all during this difficult time. Diane was loved by so many people and she loved them all right back. I am truly honored to have ever known such a wonderful person.I think my daughter Jennifer was one of her first babies as far as babysitting went. She loved and cared for my nephew Matthew and my nieces Katherine & Rachel too. Diane was never just the babysitter, she was our family too. She is loved by us all and will truly be missed.
