.Shirley Lee Blankinship, 77, passed away on December 31, 2016. She was born on September 4, 1939 in Pawhuska, OK to Rollins Robert and Juanita June (Johnson) Swan.
Shirley enjoyed gardening, crocheting, ceramics, watching RFD and HDTV and spending time with her beloved family. She was the strong matriarch of the Blankinship family and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Jack; sister, Pat Decker. Survivors include her children, Janet Council (Paul), Jackie Blankinship (Robert Moody), Bob Blankinship (Sherri), Jody Harris; grandchildren, Jennifer Garrison (Gregg), Jamie Carey (Dale), Christopher and Matthew Lee, Robbie Blankinship (Stefanie Ellis), Robin Trotter (Jerrami), Jeni Petersen (Jeremy), Randi Rae and Brice Clark; great-grandchildren, Avery Dockrey, Emery Garrison, Jacksen Jacobs, Caitlynn and Bennett Carey, Hunter Ellis, Dolton Blankinship, Pure Elizabeth Blankinship, Larrami Trotter, Paislee Petersen; siblings, Jim Swan (Kathy), Robert "Butch" Swan, Rick Swan (Sharon), Sherry Clickner.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman, OK.

I will miss her laugh and smile. She was always good to me. I will miss her chewing my butt out with her cigarette hanging out of her mouth and never dropping the 1" to 2" ash still holding on.
