Shirley A. Bilbrey, 84 of Davenport passed away on Tuesday, August 09, 2011 at her home. Born January 13, 1927 in Oneonta, she was the daughter of the late Wilber and Florence (Dimmick) Miller. She married John "Jack" Bilbrey in April 1980 at Milford Center. He passed away in 1997. She worked as a sales clerk for Bresee's Department Store and as a chambermaid for the Holiday Inn. She also worked for A.O. Fox Hospital in dietary and Hartwick College. She loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shirley A. Bilbrey, 84 of Davenport passed away on Tuesday, August 09, 2011 at her home. Born January 13, 1927 in Oneonta, she was the daughter of the late Wilber and Florence (Dimmick) Miller.

She married John "Jack" Bilbrey in April 1980 at Milford Center. He passed away in 1997. She worked as a sales clerk for Bresee's Department Store and as a chambermaid for the Holiday Inn. She also worked for A.O. Fox Hospital in dietary and Hartwick College. She loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Deborah and Joseph Seeley of Davenport, Gary Harper of Davenport, and Pamela and James Clark of Gilboa; a sister, Marlyn and Charles Meeker of Prattsville; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, and brother and sister in law, Richard and Mary Miller.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday in the Oneonta Plains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the , P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
