Shirley Ann Killilea, of Williamsburg, passed away on July 8, 2013, at the age of 71. She was a long time resident of Williamsburg and devoted military wife. Shirley enjoyed traveling and caring for her family during stateside and overseas assignments.
She was a loving and compassionate woman who will be remembered by all who knew her.
Shirley was the cherished wife of her husband of 52 years, James T. Killilea. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her children: James and his wife Dana, Michael and his wife Dawn, Thomas, Kathleen Balser and her husband Michael, and daughter-in-law Colleen; her grandchildren, Stephen, Lauren, James, Megan, Bridget, Karlie, Josh, and; and great grandchild, Ezra.
A private Catholic Memorial Mass will be held for the Killilea family at a future date. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made in Shirley's name to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St, Memphis, TN, 38105.

Don and I were so sad to hear about the loss of Shirley. She was a lovely and happy woman and wonderful Mother, Grandmother and, of course, a good Wife to you. We couldn't have asked for a better neighbor.
