ARLINGTON -- Shirley Ann Bumstead Rubaloff passed away peacefully at an Arlington hospital on Friday, March 2, 2012, after a long and brave battle with cancer. Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and lived in California for many years before moving to Arlington in 1978 where she had resided ever since. ARLINGTON -- Shirley Ann Bumstead Rubaloff passed away peacefully at an Arlington hospital on Friday, March 2, 2012, after a long and brave battle with cancer.
Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home.
She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and lived in California for many years before moving to Arlington in 1978 where she had resided ever since. Shirley graduated from Bolso Grande High School in Garden Grove, Calif., and attended TCJC for two years.
Shirley was a wonderful and loving mother who always went above and beyond to meet her children's needs. She loved to play darts and bingo with her friends. She was a hardworking and dedicated purchasing manager who spent her last 18-plus years working for The MARCO Company in Fort Worth.
Shirley will be greatly missed.
A special thanks to Martha, Darrel Lee, Carol, Ellen, John and the rest of her wonderful Marco family.
Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Chad Brian Rubaloff, and her father, Roger Jotham Bumstead.
Survivors: Shirley is survived by her loving daughter, Krista Rubaloff Souder and son-in-law, Trey; her only grandson, whom she loved more than anything, Gage H. Souder. She is survived by her loving family in California and in Utah, her mother, Irene Aurand Bumstead; her brother, Robert Bumstead and his wife, Carol; sisters, Kathy Wangsgard and husband, Ric, Laura Kading and her husband, Randy; three nieces; two nephews; and best friend, Nancy Hayes.
