Shirley Mae Ruth, 84, passed away on May 6, 2012 in Lake Villa, Illinois. She was born on November 24, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Thor and Anna Olsen. Shirley Mae is survived by Alan (Mickey) Ruth, Randall (Selena) Ruth, Charles Thor (Donna) Ruth, Sandra Florkow and Richard (Lisa) Ruth; 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph George Ruth, beloved grandson, Charles Thor Ruth Jr.; and loving sister, Laverne Vazzano. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 4 to 8 pm at Marsh Funeral Home. Burial private.
