Carmel, Illinois a daughter of Marvin and Nellie Mae (Smith) Merritt. She married Larry Sherman May 28th, 1960 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Surviving are husband Larry of Allendale, Illinois; daughter Lori Sherman of Allendale, Illinois; sons Terry (Belinda) Sherman of Patton, Illinois, Rodney (Annie) Sherman of Allendale, Illinois, Randy Sherman of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; sister Patty Slunder of Lawrenceville, Illinois and eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday February 29th, 2012 at the Allendale Cemetery in Allendale, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM till service time at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel in Allendale, Illinois.
