Sophie Vukobratovich, age 98, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dan.
She is survived by her three children, Joanne, Dan and Diane. Daughter-in-law Vickie and Son-in-law Cliff.
Proud Grandma of 6 grandchildren, Dan, Julee, Chris, Danny, Jeff and Sam.
Adoring Great grandma of 4 great grand children, Zach and triplets, Alex, Maddie and Zach.
She was born in Illinois in 1916 and moved to Phoenix in 1951. She became a true Phoenician at heart because she loved the Valley of the Sun.
She worked in the cafeteria of Creighton School for many years where she was affectionately thought of as everyone's grandma. After that she volunteered at the hospital for several years. In everything that she would do, she would brighten people's days because she loved people and was dearly loved by all that knew her. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was known for her big smile. Her laughter would fill any room with joy and love.
She will be loved and missed by her entire family and countless friends, old and new. Her bright light will be missed, but it will lead us all back to her in due time.
We will Love you, Mom, always.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday April 2, 2015 at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N. 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009.

Joanne, Dan and Diane ... I loved visiting with your Mom when I came to Phoenix each year before she moved. We always had a nice talk about the family. She was so proud of all of you and was always sharing pictures with me and I shared those of the rest of the family from Chicago. I know she will be missed! I will keep you all in my prayers - your Chicago cousin (and your Aunt Helen's daughter) - Veda Chadwick

It's an Honor to have known and been a part of her family. She was such a lovely lady and I will miss her dearly.
