Stanley Augusta Vinsant, age 72, passed away on August 8, 2017, in Fairhope, AL.
Stanley is survived by his daughters, Tracie Stanley (Craig), of Spanish Fort, AL, and Vickie Bailey (Gary Fuller), of Fairhope, AL; his sister, Kathy Vinsant of FL; and his grandsons, Benjamin Stanley of Spanish Fort, AL, Brandon Bailey of Fairhope, Al, and Nicholas Bailey of Fairhope, AL. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jo Vinsant, of Mobile, AL; his father, Edgar Lee Vinsant, of Mobile, AL; his mother, Jewel Vinsant, of Mobile, AL and his sister Debbie Kuffskie also of Mobile.
Stanley was born on May 8, 1945 in Smyrna, TN. He graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile in 1963.
He was a caring father and grandfather, and loved his wife JoJo with all his heart. He was a successful local businessman owning several businesses during his life.
A funeral is scheduled for Stanley on Saturday, August 12 at 2:00 at Pine Crest Funeral Home in Mobile. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00. Timothy Clark will officiate.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stanley’s life. The family would like to thank the staff at Montrose Bay Health and Rehab for taking care of our father for the past 3 years.
