88 of Sun City West, passed away on May 8, 2012. Stan is an Ex-POW having served in the Army Air Corps during WW II. He will be deeply missed by his family. A private military interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Hospice of The Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014. The family extends their sincerest thanks to Hospice of The Valley for the kind and loving care in the last few months of Stan's life.

Stan was a wonderful neighbor to us when we lived in Wichita in 1978 He was a father figure to my husband and I and a grandfather to our children. He was kind and gentle and years later he and Hazel were still coming to our children's weddings and visiting us. He was a wonderful man.
