I was an Instructor in Life Saving and ran the pool at Shadybrook in Livingston in the summer of 1969.
As I got to know him, he was a Great Manager of Swim Clubs and had a Great sense of humor. Tremendous athlete, a few years older than me and I enjoyed being part of his team.
I reconnected in 1981 for 3 years at Sun Valley as a member until it closed and at Cabana Club. He was a very Special guy who inspired me in so many positive ways.
Gone to soon !!!!!!!!

I was blessed to have Stan as a role model. I worked for him at Cabana Club for many years as he taught me life lessons in how to be a real man. He always put aside time to talk to me if I needed advice. I know he will be dearly missed.

We are devastated to have just learned this terrible news. We continue to treasure beautiful memories of being next door neighbors with the Levy's in South Orange for years. What a wonderful family, and a kind and generous man. Our hearts ache for Myrna, Jason, David and their families. Linda Lauchaire

I first met Stan in 1969 at Shadybrook in Lvingston.
I was his head life guard for that year. I would have loved to do it the following year but I served in the Mlitary.
Stan was a great guy and had a great sense of humor.
I saw his athletic abilities on the softball field. We hooked up again in the 1980s at Cabana Club, this time as a member.
His passing is much too soon and my Condolences to his family.
Formerly from Livngston, now in Florida.

I am so saddened to hear of Stan's passing. Stan and I were not only high school friends but, truly, baseball buddies. We played on the Weequahic baseball team together and, following high school, played in quite a few fast pitch softball leagues until I finished my medical training and moved to Florida. I, even, had the great and most pleasurable surprise to see his Dad and Mom in my Ophthalmology practice in Sunrise, Florida, during one of their Florida visitations, years after I had left New Jersey. I had spent many a day in their house on Leslie Street. Stan, as his family knows, was an all county baseball player but, more impressively, he became a great underhand fast pitch softball pitcher while I patrolled center field, rarely, ever seeing a ball hit to the outfield. I was not able to attend our 50th reunion in 2010 due to my mother-in-law's terminal illness, but I remember my cousin who was there telling me that Stan came to him and asked "where's your cousin". I would have so loved to have seen him to reminisce about our "glory days". Stan was a very special guy, and I, too, as our buddy, Marc Katz stated, cherish those memories. My heartfelt condolences to Myrna, his Mom, Lillian, and the children and grandchildren.

I was surprised and saddened to learn of Stan's passing, today. Stan and I have been business acquaintances, but I always felt he was a friend, first. He created and ran a unique and creative business, and he was full of cool ideas. He did a great job with his bag of electronic tricks at my son's Bar Mitzvah.
RIP Stan. You will be sorely missed.

My condolences go out to the Levy family. Mr. Levy was one of the first people to introduce me to organized sports. Mr. Levy and Mr. B truly cared about the kids at Chancellor Avenue School in Newark, N.J. He was instrumental in my development as a young student/athlete. I can't speak for the other students, but he left a mark on my life that I shared with my kids and student/athletes that I teach today .All we had to do was show up and they did the rest. An unselfish soul that is now in Gods hands. I am truly sorry for your families loss.
