Stanley P. Wysochanski, 89, of Solvay, passed away Sunday April 28, 2013 at home. Born in Mckee's Rocks, PA, he has lived is Solvay most of his life. Stanley was a US Marine Corps Veteran of World War II and he was a longtime Union Carpenter, working with the Carpenters Local 747 before retiring in 1981. Stanley enjoyed working on model airplanes and frequenting Vernon Downs.
He is survived by 3 sisters; Stella Giacobbe, of Syracuse, Veronica (Roger) Vecchio and Katherine (Dan) Karleski, both of Solvay, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:30 am in St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd, Solvay. Private burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Minoa. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME has care of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Food Bank of CNY, 7066 Interstate Island Rd., Syracuse, NY 13209 or at www.foodbankcny.org.

Bonnie Miller

Uncle Stanley was quite a guy. He was so much fun to be around. I was lucky enough to grow up with him in my life. He wasn't really my uncle, but we always called me that, and couldn't have loved him more. Bonnie Glanister Miller
