Just saw a note at work and reminded me of Stephen. Just now finding out about your loss. So Sorry to hear. It was so much fun with our two sons being in boy scouts together and watching them grow up. Stephen was such a great father to his son. I know he is missed and was a great parent to his kids and a wonderful husband. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

I just learned of Steve's death today. I was deeply saddened to hear about his passing. I met Steve in 1999 when his brother Terry introduced us. I had just moved to Lake Broward where Steve and I were next door neighbors for a short time. For 13 years I had the opportunity to consider myself a friend of Steve's. Steve was a warm hearted man that embraced the time he spent with his family and friends. I will miss him. My deepest sympathies to his wife, children, brothers and close friends.

I went to school with Steve from Pinedale Elem. John Gorrie and Robert E Lee. Lost contact after high school. Steve lived Two blocks behind me. He use to drive my mom crazy when he would walk in with a snake that we had cought had in his shirt or wraped around his neck. My mom would jump up and down an tell us to get out an come back when the snakes are gone. My prayers and thoughts are with all at this and the times down the road. May GOD bless you and hold you up.

Steve was like a brother to me. I will so miss his great smile, his laughter, our long talks and his wonderful devotion to Florida State football. I met Steve when I was in the 3rd grade and my dad coached him at Lee High School. We "reconnected" with Steve in Tallahassee at a football game when he lived in New Orleans. We then enjoyed over 30 years of fun, laughter and good times following our beloved Seminoles to games all over the country. I am so blessed to have all those marvelous memories.

It was with deep sadness that we read of the passing of our cousin Steve, and so young. Heartened to hear you all had Thanksgiving together near his end, a wonderful send off. May he rest in peace.

God looked around his garden and found an empty space. Then he looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.

Sorry we can't be with you, our deepest condolences to you all.

Love, Leigh-Anne and Mark Eagerton
