Stephen Thomas Hunsicker, Sr. of St. Louis, MO, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday,
March 07, 2013 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of his high school sweetheart Marie Hunsicker (nee Sullivan) of 53 years, loving, proud and devoted father of Michael (Sheila) Hunsicker, Mary (John) Parris, Steve Hunsicker,Jr. and Laurie (Brad) Phillips. Loving grandfather to Sarah, Dexter and Reed Parris, Connor Hunsicker, and Tommy, Danny and David Phillips. Dear brother, brother -in-law, uncle, cousin and a wonderful friend to all. Steve inspired everyone with his incredible work ethic as exemplified by his perfect attendance at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for thirty years. During that time, he not only raised four children, but attended night classes and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University. Most importantly, he absolutely loved being a super fan for his children's and grandchildren's sporting, school and theater events. As long as he was healthy, he was on the sidelines or in the audience with a full heart and a smile on his face.

Mrs Hunsicker, Mary and Family,
I am truly saddened by Mr. Hunsicker's passing. I keep thinking of all the fun times we had at your house, during highschool and college. The long talks sitting around your kitchen table. They were wonderful times spent with my second parents. They bring a smile to my face and a warm loving feeling to my heart. Mr Hunsicker was a wonderful, loving man and I will always remember how he touched my life. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
Love, Karen Thumser Keohan

Marie and family...I grieve with you at the loss of my friend. My memories go back to younger days with my best bud. He became a part of my family as much as my siblings. He made growing up loving and fun. Didn't do much then that didn't involve us being together. I will miss him deeply. Thank you for being my friend and my bud Stephen.

Steve,
So sorry for your loss and that we're not able to be there to celebrate your Dad's life. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. He will definitely be watching over you all, with G'ma Sully! :)
Take care,
Bridget and Bruce

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Marie and the entire Hunsicker family. What a class act this man, Steve, was. Not only was he a co-worker, but a true friend and father-like figure. I am proud to have known this man and will keep memories of him deep within my heart and soul. Steve, love you dearly and always will. Peace, my friend.
