Obituary

Stephen J. Mastroleo, 84, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday April 12, 2014 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. He was born in Syracuse to the late Stephen and Pasqualina (Companion) Mastroleo. Stephen was a printer at Estabrook Printing for many years before retiring in 1989. An avid golfer and bowler, he retired to Florida for over 10 years before returning to Syracuse due to health reasons in 2009. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Clement) in 1978 and a brother, Raymond in 1981. Surviving are 2 daughters; Sandra (Andrew) Sitar, of Lakeland and Cynthia (Dan Tracy) Willett, of Solvay, a son; Stephen, of Baldwinsville, 2 grandsons; Michael Mastroleo and KJ Willett, 3 step-grandchildren; Nicole, Drew and John Sitar, 3 step-great grandsons, a brother; Lawrence (Rosemary), of Naples, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 9:30 am at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay. Burial will follow in Belle Isle Cemetery, Syracuse.
Family and friends may call Wednesday April 16, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St, Syracuse, NY 13204.
