Papa you will be missed by many! You were a man I can only dream about being. The memories will always be in my mind and the tip of my tongue as I speak of you often. A big part of my life was spent right there at the river house. Everything from learning how to swim at your home to learning how to tie a fishing knot. Every year we all looked forward to the Christmas eves as kids on up into adult hood spent with you and grandma. The stories you would tell us as kids will be embedded in my mind forever, and for how lucky I was to spend the time with you that i spent. Just about every time we pulled into the drivay I would be so excited, I would run inside ask grandma where you were in the workshop or out in the boat fishing. If you were fishing I would wait on the dock until your return, or if you were in the shop we would always talk about your last catch... I will see you again one day and we will talk about that last catch. Love you

My Uncle was so much more than a paper can ever list. He was known for his woodworking, donating his time and talent to re-do the pulpit and furnished the church with beautiful detail workmanship.

He also was known for his extreme talent or sheer luck in fishing, even being listed in the newspaper.

I could go on forever on all the great things he has done, but he was much more than that, he was the greatest man I knew outside my Father. He was the Head of the Family for everyone.

I love you Uncle Steve, I will miss you so much.

We will miss you, Mr. Rogero. I remember "helping" you when I was 6 in your workshop when you built my families solid-wood entertainment center. Please tell my Grandpa's hello in Heaven. Love, Ansley Hollis

"For me prayer is a surge of the heart, it is a simple look towards Heaven,
it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy."

Annette, Michael, and family: In the over 40 years that I've known your dad, he was always the most positive, kind-hearted, encouraging man. His voice was always warm and comforting, and when he sang, you know that all of heaven smiled! His family, Catholic faith, and his Florida/Mandarin roots were paramount. Steve Rogero will forever be missed. While we are saddened by his death, the knowledge that he is with Trudy again and is eternally wrapped in the loving arms of his Lord is gratifying. With my deepest sympathy,

You were everything a grandfather was supposed to be and more. My mind is full of memories and experiences and advice and stories. Oh the stories...next to you yourself, those will be missed the most. It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye, but also with great hope that we will see you again. Love and miss you Papa.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. During this time of great sadness, I hope that the family find comfort from James 4:8. It says, "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you." Along with family and friends, may you'll also look to God for comfort.

Jerry & Judy Rogero

Our hearts are heavy as we try to cope with the loss of a brother and friend. Steve was always so kind to us, and we appreciated him and Trudy so much. Jerry has a lifetime of wonderful memories to cherish. He will surely remember something every day that will remind him of his brother. Some will bring tears while others will bring laughter. Both are part of healing, but nothing will ever erase his memory or a brother's love. We are so very saddened for the children, grandchildren and extended family. They, and we, are truly blessed to have had them in our lives.

Dad, thank you for being part of a legacy that only God will complete. My marriage of fourty-two years to your son Michael was guided by your encouraging words and good example, both of which have allowed me to grow in faith and family. Your example, strong principles, and quiet conversations will be missed. Love you, Marcia
