Grandpa to Doug, Mike, Jennifer, Roberta and Grant. Special Great-Grandpa to Chase, Zoe, Gaia, Nathan and Natalie. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members in New Brunswick. Sterling retired from The Union Gas Company 28 years ago after many years of dedicated service. He was well known as a fantastic cook who cheerfully and generously provided wonderful meals to his family and friends. Sterling was truly "larger than life" with a loud, boisterous laugh, a wonderful sense of humour and a unique personality. At Sterling's request, a private family service and cremation have taken place. Final arrangements completed by the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte Street East, Windsor, Ontario 519-252-5711. Thankyou to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Hospice for making Sterling's last days very comfortable. To honour Sterling's life, a donation to Hospice of Windsor or the Cancer Clinic would be greatly appreciated.
