STEVE CROFT, 92, of Longview, MS, passed away on June 6, 2011. He proudly served in the 840th Engineering Unit in Europe during WWII. He lived most of his life in the Collierville/Barton area where he owned a Ford tractor dealership for many years, as well as being a dairy farmer, avid fisherman, and skilled wood craftsman. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Muggie Croft of Longview, MS; his daughter, Brenda Croft; and his brothers and sister, Joe Croft, JV "Pete" Croft, WW "Red" Croft, Fannie Sue Glenn, and Morris Croft. He leaves his loving wife of 68 years, Betty Ray Croft; two daughters, Cherri Croft Lightsey and her husband, Mike, and Amy Croft Loftin; three grandchildren, Rachel Loftin Burnett and her husband, Paul, Steven Loftin, and Caroline Loftin. Visitation will be held at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS on Wednesday, June 8, from 5-7 p.m. and the funeral service will be held Thursday
