I've known Steve for 30+ yrs.
At first, I felt like - this poor guy, to have gone through all he has and still even be able to function was a miracle to me!
But I soon learned just how amazing he really was. Not to be pitied, but to be admired for the ability to keep getting back on the horse after all the bumps in the road he'd been through.
I saw Steve through many bumps and saw him bounce back from all of them.
I will always regard Steve as a Good Soldier, a Fine American, and my Friend. Semper Fi, Steve
