I met Steven through my daughter, Cheryl Meek at Jasmine terr. where they both stayed a short time. They were both looking for a better place to live.cheryl eventually ended up at Braswells in yucaipa and was so elated to know Steven was there , also as she missed talking to him at jasmine. She was very sick and he came over to her room to see her, even tho it was quite an effort for him. my husband and i would stop in to talk to him and he was always cheerful and friendly. Cheryl passed away June 19th and he was so sincere in his condolence to her, . We stopped to see him for some time, afterwards,, but it was hard to go there. Im sorry we didnt get in touch with him more ften. He was truly a friend for Cheryl as he kept her spirits up.
We never asked him why he was there.and am sorry to have missed his service. He was a good man.
