Steven John Marmaduke, 64, joyously remembered as "Steve", entered into eternal peace on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Steve was born and lived the majority of his life in Hanford, California. Steve graduated from Corcoran High School in 1968, and served two years in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He worked in many capacities in the gas industry for 38 years; first propane, then gasoline.

Steve lived his life for his family. Whether he was attending athletic events, school functions or playdates at the park with his grandchildren, working on household projects with his son, having "beer-thirty Thursdays" with his daughter, or running off to the coast with the love of his life – Steve always put his family first and gave his heart and soul for their happiness. He was a hard-worker with the highest level of work ethic and pride, bringing joy and laughter to everyone he knew. Steve is well known for being a jokester – pulling pranks on his closest friends and family. His laugh was contagious.

Steve was predeceased by his parents Thaddeus and Phyllis Marmaduke and his in-laws, Fred and Imelda "Mel" Frese. He leaves behind his wife, Susan, his daughter Peggy and her three children, Dustin, Dalton and Spencer Silva, his son Will and wife Heather and their daughter, Brooklyn Marmaduke; his siblings, Loretta Hill, Linda Marr and Ben Marmaduke; and his brother-in-laws, John Frese and Mike Frese and his sister-in-laws, Barbara Spencer (Frese) and Marian Etchebehere (Frese).

A grave site service will be held Saturday, August 23rd at 9:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery 11680 South 10th Avenue, Hanford, California.
