In the 60s Sue Barton was a top couture model in the United States and Europe. In the 70s and 80s she became involved in the film business, beginning with her own public relations firm in London and culminating as Senior Vice President, Marketing for Columbia pictures in New York and Los Angeles. In the 90's she returned, with great pleasure, to her home town of Pacific Grove, Ca. She is most remembered for her robust, infectious, endearing laugh. She passed, at the age of 78, on January 5, 2018.

I was saddened to read about the passing of this great lady. I had the honor of working for and with her during her tenure at Columbia Pictures in Los Angeles. She mentored me, she nurtured me and I blossomed under her tutelage. When she left Columbia, I was solely responsible for the Golden Globe and Academy Award campaigns for "Midnight Express" and "Thank God It's Friday." They were very successful and I believe it is because Sue was perched on my shoulder. We laughed every day, became girl-friends, and the photos I have of us would say it all. Keep giggling, Sue, among the angels as you are one.

Sue was a fountain of laughter, friendship, intelligence, and generosity. Along with being a beautiful looking women she had a huge heart full of sharing, caring, and love. A best friend if ever there was one. I will miss her so much and will keep her in my memory forever. I am so glad she came into my life. What a gal!!!!
