Sue W. Hoffman, born on the 7th of January 1929, in Hillsboro, passed away on the 19th of January, in Houston. She grew up in Hillsboro and was in the Delta Delta Delta sorority during her time at the University of Texas. After graduation, she continued her education at Tulane University, where she received her graduate degree in social work. She was married to her husband, William K. Hoffman, Jr., for 59 years, and lived her entire adult life in Houston. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family immensely. Sue W. Hoffman, born on the 7th of January 1929, in Hillsboro, passed away on the 19th of January, in Houston.

She grew up in Hillsboro and was in the Delta Delta Delta sorority during her time at the University of Texas. After graduation, she continued her education at Tulane University, where she received her graduate degree in social work. She was married to her husband, William K. Hoffman, Jr., for 59 years, and lived her entire adult life in Houston. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family immensely. She was a homemaker and was involved in the River Oaks Garden Club. She loved to play bridge at the Houston Country Club and was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church. She spent many hours volunteering for different organizations in the Houston area.

She was predeceased by her parents, Percy A. Wilkirson and Emily McNeill Wilkirson; and by her husband, William K. Hoffman, Jr.

She is survived by her two children, William K. "Trey" Hoffman III, and wife, Linda; Emily H. Vaughn; and grandchildren, Katie Hoffman Reyes, and husband, Fredy, Trent Hoffman, Tyler Hoffman, Haley Vaughn, and Cliff Vaughn, and wife Jordan.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Jessica Holmes, Terri Washington, Tamika Nickerson, Davetta Yarbrough, and all of the Caring Hands staff, for their loving care.

Mrs. Hoffman is to lie in repose from one until five o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 23rd of January, in the parlor of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

A memorial service is to be conducted at half-past three o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 24th of January, in the sanctuary of Bethel Church, 825 Bering Drive in Houston.

Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the nearby Fellowship Hall.

Prior to the services, the family will have gathered for a private entombment in the Memorial Mission Mausoleum at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be directed to Bethel Church, 825 Bering Dr., Houston, TX, 77057.
