February 2, 1936 - March 12, 2013.

Lisbeth Nichols (Sue) Shea was born in Canastota, New York on February 2, 1936 to Edward and Rosalie (Fox) Nichols and went to heaven on March 12th, 2013. Sue is survived by her children Neil (Vicki), Christopher (Mary), Lisa (Carl), and Bethany (Dan) and her grandchildren Austin, Tierney, Connor, Tyler, Nick, and Collin Shea, Kane (Ellie) Kimble and their children Haley and Bailey.

She is also survived by her sister Linda Nichols, sister-in-law Constance Unangst and numerous nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Cornelius, her parents, her brothers Jonathan, Peter, and Eddie and her daughter Shelley. After raising her family, Sue graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Japanese. She worked for Honeywell as a Software Specialist, ultimately retiring in 2001.

Sue was an avid sports fan, enjoyed cooking for family get-togethers, attending grandchildren's events and had a deep appreciation for music, art, animals, and loved playing the piano. Sue had a selfless commitment to her husband and family, putting everyone one else first. She always had a kind word and smile for everyone she met. We were blessed to have Sue in our lives and already miss her more deeply than words can express. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Huger Mercy Living Center on Friday, March 22nd at 11am at 2345 W. Orangewood Ave in Phoenix. Interment burial will take place at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Huger Mercy Living Center located at 2345 W. Orangewood Ave Phoenix, AZ 85021. www.almoore-grimshaw.com
