Susan Ann Paulson, a life long resident of Bakersfield, passed away November 22, 2016. She was born February 3, 1951, attending local parochial schools, a graduate of the Class of 1969 Garces Memorial High School and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Bakersfield Junior College.
Susan was a loving mother, godmother, sister, friend, wife and aunt. She strived each and every day to be the very best at each. In regards to "CLASS" she was in a league of her own, always knowing the right thing to do. She spent her life caring for family and friends, hosting parties both large and small, as well as, enjoying one of her favorite pasttimes as an avid reader. Susan loved the sights and sounds of the ocean, spending many family vacations at Pismo Beach.

Susan and all of her family felt the love and support during her illness from her many friends locally and out of town.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Joan Easton, and her older sister Lucille Lynch. She is survived by her husband Rick, her daughter Kelley and her sister Florence Crosby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled on November 29th from 4:00-8:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road. Bakersfield, CA. A rosary and mass will be held at 11:30 am, Saint Francis of Assisi Parish on November 30th, 900 H. Street Bakersfield CA., followed by graveside services at Hillcrest Park and Mortuary.
Upon request of the family, donations in lieu of flowers to Garces Memorial High School 2800 Loma Linda Drive, Bakersfield, CA.

Aunt Susan,
Your kindness, caring, generosity and love will never be forgotten. Thank you for always including us as though we were part of your family.
