Sue was a wonderful lady, loving to all she met. We worked together in Alaska at Chapman College and had great fun. We shared many great times together all filled with laughter and smiles. From ushering together at church to working together to partying at the NCO Club where Sue would run around the tables when they played "Run Around Sue" yelling "I'm Sue". Dan, Dana and Jason were her whole life but she made room in her heart for her numerous friends too. Smart, gracious, loving, compassionate, hardworking and a wonderful friend. Sue, you are missed dearly!

Sue was the best, kindest, nicest person. Friends for over 40 years and the last time we saw her it was just like the first time we were together. She will be dearly missed. She will never be forgotten.

I lost the "Love of my Life" on January 6, 2018. It was so sudden and quick. I was in complete shock and sick with remorse. Me and Sue kissed three times before she left the house to go to LeRoy's funeral service with Pat. One of the three kisses was so much different than the other two. It was sweet, long, intense, and loving. I had noticed this right away and almost asked her to stay home. Sue was and is my "Best Friend" for over 48 years. I will always miss and love my sweetheart Sue. God Bless you Baby and I'll see you in heaven someday in the future. Love Always, Your Dan xoxoxoxo!

Dan, Dana, Jason - so sorry dear friends for the pain that you bear and the loss that you're feeling right now. Please know that deep in our hearts, friends want to help you somehow. All the prayers of so many who care for your Sue and for you will hopefully lessen your sorrow in time. I will remember her always - the time my dad met her dad at your4th of July BBQ and how neither of them could hear each other but how much fun they were having anyway. The fishing trips to Air Force Academy & the football game we went to. She IS such a gentle spirit. Don't ever forget that. Wish I could be there but my car can't hold itself together for that distance at this time. Love you all, Carol

Sue was a generous and caring person. She was one of the first people I hired in Technical Services at the Douglas County Library and I consideed myself fortunate to have someone who worked so well and so hard. She will be missed by all who knew her.
