Susan Lyn Ball, age 70, of McCalla, Alabama passed away on January 5, 2018. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ball, and her parents, George and Magdalena Samaniego.
Susan is survived by her children, Christine (Dan) Spence, Bobby Ball, Jesse Ball, and Sarah (Devin) Matthews. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren along with her brother George Samaniego and her sister Pam Thome.
There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Ball on Thursday, January 11at 1:15 pm at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.

There are so many great memories I have of my cousin. Who was more like a big sister to me. Suzie and her friend Glenda watched me and my siblings when my mom went out. OMG, the crazy things she and Glenda would think of; runing up and down the street pretending to be Martians for example. The fun family get togethers we would have at her and Jerry's home. It doesn't seem that so long ago. She left our family too soon. I'm so sad that I won't be able to see her again. Well, maybe some day in heaven, I hope
