Susan Vaughn Holsapple-Blankenbaker passed away on April 21, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 61.Susie was an outstanding individual who believed that education is a journey not a destination. She excelled as a master educator in cosmetology and esthetician instruction and was one of two Cidesco Diplomats in Indiana. She was co-owner and Executive Director of Education at A Cut Above Beauty College. Susie is survived by her loving husband Leslie Blankenbaker, daughters; Amy Holsapple,and Julie Randall, her son Shawn(wife Kathy)Holsapple, three sisters; Charlene Drake, Sandra Jo Case, Sharon Golden, and her brother Douglas Vaughn.She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Kayliegh and Phelan Holsapple.Friends may call on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. in Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday. April 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. also in the funeral home.Graveside service and burial in Whited Cemetery, Liberty, KY.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.www.littleandsonsindianapolis.com.
