ANDERSON, Susan Elizabeth (nee Lohnes)
After a long and extremely courageous battle fighting multiple cancers with her "warrior like spirit", Susan passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on December 20th, 2017 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of the late Karl Anderson. Loving mother of Megan (Mike) of Oshawa and Erin (Giles) of Chatham, England. Dear Nannie to Katherine, Gabriel, Anna and Claire McFetters and Cerys, Freya, Caleb and Canaan Taylor. Survived by her brother Jim (Donna) Lohnes of Nepean, Ontario. Predeceased by her father Frank Lohnes and her mother Pearl Lohnes. Interment at a later date in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. A very special thank you to Dr. Rothenstein and his team for their outstanding support and care. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234). Meghan & Erin, my deepest sympathies to you both and your families. I remember the conversations your Mom and I would have as I passed by while walking Lucky. She would purchase dog cookies even though she didn't own a dog to hand out to those of us who did. One time she even bake a cake for me when my oven was on the frits. She will be sadly missed by all.
