Susan Lynn Wetzel-Harvath, 53, of Ravenna, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, August 13, 2013.
Susan was born in Ravenna, Ohio on February 19, 1960 to parents Roger Wetzel and Gloria Willyard. She graduated in 1978 from Ravenna High School and worked as a secretary for Revco. Susan lived in Oak Island, N.C. for some time and was a member of the Oak Island Moose Club. She had a heart of gold and was the caregiver to her family and friends. She always spoke her mind and truly loved her grandchildren. Susan loved the beach and was planning on returning to North Carolina.
Susan is survived by her daughters: Glorlena (Ralph) Harper and Bobbi Sue (Chris Worthington) Harvath and adopted children David, Dalton & Lena Harvath. She also leaves her precious grandchildren: Malena and Holly Harper and Austin Worthington. Surviving also are her brothers: David Trussel, Raymond (Carol Anne) Wetzel, brother –in-law John Harvath, her special life-long friend, Tammy Morris and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harvath, step-father Larry and Gloria Willyard, her father Roger Wetzel and her aunt, Nancy Lou Trussel.
Family will receive friends on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio 44266 from 11:00 A.M. until the 12:00 P.M. funeral service officiated by Brother James Stacy. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

A benefit for Sue and the family to help offset final expenses will be held at the Paris Inn, 9434 Newton Falls Rd., Ravenna, on Sunday, August 18th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and any support would be greatly appreciated.
