Susan Ada (Shirley) Johnson passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 in Canyon Country, CA after a battle with cancer. She was born January 15, 1948 in West Los Angeles, CA to Clyde Royce Shirley and Lily Gertrude (Dillenbeck) Shirley.
A graduate of Wm. S. Hart High School in Newhall, CA, she pursued a career with Bank of America as a Manager. A lifelong resident of the Santa Clarita Valley, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family is very appreciative of the support of her caring hospice workers.
Susan is survived by her husband Lawrence W. Johnson of Canyon Country, CA; her sons: Jason (Michelle) Osborn of Temecula, CA and Brent (Heather) Osborn of Santa Clarita, CA; her daughter Kimberly (Melissa) Osborn of Saugus, CA; her stepsons: Shane (Heidi) Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; Joshua (Crystal) Johnson of Linden, WA; Bret (Katie) Johnson of Ventura, CA and Lawrence Johnson, Jr. of Santa Paula, CA; her stepdaughter Jodie-Marie Johnson of Ventura, CA; her grandchildren: John, Ashlynn, Michael, Marlee, Marie, John Michael, Briana, Connor, Zachery, Mackenzie, Emily, Carter, Adian, Derrick, Riley, Joanna, and Jojo. She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Casandra Lee Osborn.
A visitation will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 19513 Drycliff Street, Canyon Country, CA 91351. Interment will be at Eternal Valley, 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321.

Susan, like I told you many times- you will always & forever have such a special place in my heart. You were a great source of comfort during my darkest days. How I will cherish ALL the many conversations we shared. We had countless laughs, that's for sure. I'm eternally grateful for our friendship. I look forward to eternity where it can continue. Give my Mom a gigantic hug Susan. I love & miss you~
