Peter Earle

Sylvan was not only a relative but a childhood friend. Always immaculately dressed and with a jovial personality, he was extremely personable and easily made friends since he was always ready to comment on an observation. On his second last visit to Barbados we spend long hours together and enjoyed dinner at the then Heywoods Hotel where I worked as the HumanResources Director. We reminisced and talked about the good old days when we walked long lonely roads to pay visits to our female friends.Just two weeks ago I remembered one of those visits we had with our friends. On his last visit he told me he had not been well but he was the same old Sylvan. I shall miss him and deeply regret not taking up his offer to visit him on Canada. I wish on behalf of the Earles of Upper Carlton in Barbados to express our deepest sympathy to his family! May his soul rest in peace.
