Sylvia Bode, 93 of Tampa, FL who was originally from Havana Cuba passed away on September 3, 2017. She was a mother, grandmother aunt and friend to many. Sylvia was survived by her son, Bruce Bode, daughter in law, Laura, and two grandchildren, Rachael and Christina. She was a fun person, full of wit, enjoyed life and will be greatly missed. Her Celebration of Life services will take place Tuesday, September 19th, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM and services at 11:00 AM at Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations for IRMA victims to the Florida Baptist Convention at http://flbaptist.org/give/ or you can mail a check to Florida Baptist Convention 6850 Belfort Oaks Pl, Jacksonville, FL 32216 (Note in the memo: “Disaster Relief in honor of Sylvia Bode”)

Sylvia, I remember when I was a little girl how when we went to visit you, you and my uncle would give me anything I wanted. I haven't seen you in so long but my childhood memories always include you. You were always so classy and so beautiful.
