Sylvia Ruth Miller, 73, of Creve Coeur passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at her daughter's home in Tremont.
She was born June 25, 1944 in Peoria, Illinois to Edward and Mary (Ferguson) Lehman. She married Roy D. Miller January 15, 1965 in Peoria. He preceded her in death in 2004. Her parents, two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her four children, Brian (Robbie) Miller of Edwards, IL, Lisa (Carl) Munson of Mapleton, IL, Lori Phillips of Creve Coeur, IL and Tracy (Bill) Lance of Tremont; one brother Michael Lehman of Peoria; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Sylvia devoted her life to her husband and children. She loved being there for her grandchildren. Sylvia loved nature, gardening and bird watching. She was a Rummy Master. After raising her family she worked as a Direct Support Specialist with Mosaic before retiring in 2004. She was of the Christian Faith.
Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Hospice program of the donor's choice.
