Arnold, Stuart J., (76) born 10-19-40, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away in Peoria, Arizona on 8-3-17 after a long 6 year battle with Cancer and his beloved wife of 55 years, Sylvia "Cookie", (75) born 12-30-41, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away in Peoria, Arizona on 9-15-17, after a very very long 13 year battle with Cancer.
Beloved parents of Robbie Arnold, Debbie Hernandez (Michael), Tammy Arnold. Stuart, beloved son of Edythe Arnold and the late Saunders Arnold. Brother of Corky Arnold (Leslie).
Cookie, beloved daughter of the late Morris "Argy" and Sophie Weitzman. Sister of Roz and the late Billy Gurtz, Melvin Weitzman (Gail), Stewart (Carol) Weitzman. Loving Papa and Grandma to Jeremy, Sabrina, Samantha, Nicholas, Shane, Zachary and Lainey. Fond Uncle and Aunt of Mark, Randi (Norm), Adam (Gabby), Brittany (Jim), Shannon (Tamo),
Chloe and Luke.
Stuart was one of a kind. He had an amazing work ethic, he loved his family with his whole heart and he was a "no nonsense, tell it like it is kind of guy." Sometimes he would even say "Don't bother me" or "I just want to be left alone", lol! Although, he only had three blood children he was a "father" figure to many more. He loved his grandchildren more than anything and was very proud of everyone.
Sylvia was "One Tough Cookie." She lit up a room like no other. She loved to shop, eat out at restaurants, socialize and call everyone frequently to check up on them. She loved a good time and if she had it her way, everyone would live in one huge mansion all together. She loved her family and friends more than life and would do anything for each and everyone one of them.

So sorry for your loss. So hard to lose one parent, let alone both a little over a month between each other. I remember your parents well. Loved them both. Will be thinking of you often during this time of mourning.

I still remember the picture of your mom as the flower girl at my mom's wedding. She was a sharp cookie, that's for sure. I have a feeling that they are all partying away right now. It's time to celebrate their lives and start living yours. Shalom to ALL of you.
