Ohatchee - Funeral services for Mr. T W Poss, 84 of Ohatchee will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Bowery Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Wren and Joe Foster officiating with burial following at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the church from 11:30 until service time.
Mr. Poss passed away January 4, 2014 at his home in Ohatchee.
Mr. Poss is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Nick) Nikravan; son, Barry (Jan) Poss; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Poss is preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Poss; and son, Keith Poss.
Pallbearers will be Erik Nikravan, Dillon Poss, Neda Nikravan, Daniel Poss, Kellie Poss, Preston Poss, and Preston Boyd. Honorary pallbearer will be Lilly, Thomas and Kenlee Poss.
Mr. Poss was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church; he was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. Mr. Poss served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and was retired from Lee Brass after 33 years. In lieu of flowers family request donation be made to Oak Bowery Baptist Church.
