Mr. Comer was born on February 3, 1944 to Vera and Cecil Comer in Dorsey, MS. He married Karen L. Hodges in 1962. She preceded him in death in 2003.

T. C. voluntarily served his country in the United States Air Force in the Civil Engineering Squadron from 1961 to 1982 and retired after 22 years as a Master Sergeant. His military service included tours at Goose Bay, Eielson, Dyess, Kadena, Indian Springs, Izmir, and Luke Air Force Bases. His retirement included many days and hours out on the lake boating and fishing. His biggest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

T.C. was a simple man of character and integrity. He was friendly, caring, and someone you could count on in your time of need. He worked tirelessly near all his life to provide a comfortable life for his family. He will be missed for all his contributions and for the lives he touched and helped shape.

Survivors include his three daughters, Regina Comer of Snyder, Pamela Comer Lafferty of Gettysburg, PA, and Melissa Comer of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving is his partner, Olivia Knowles of Abilene, TX; and his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Comer Woods, Martha Comer McKeever, and Eleanor Comer Hale.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Hospice of the Big Country,
4601 Hartford -2nd. Floor - Abilene, Texas 79605.
