BILOTTA, THOMAS J., 90, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 in Atlanta, GA.
A native of Filadelfia, Italy, Tom lived most of his adult life in Louisville. A graduate of Berea College and University of Kentucky Pharmacy School. Tom spent his entire career as a pharmacist with Jones Apothecary. He was a decorated World War II veteran, having served in the European campaign.
Tom is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Alice Jane Bilotta.
Tom is survived by five children, Joseph Bilotta (Teresa), James Bilotta, Teresa McMillan (Jack), Rosa Brown (Brad) and John Bilotta (Laura); 10 grandchildren, Brooke Bilotta, Paul Bilotta, Daniel Bilotta, Matthew McMillan, Samuel McMillan, Randy Brown, Erik Decker, Evan Decker, Everett Decker and Eythan Decker; brother, Angelo Bilotta (Ann); niece, Lynn Marie Bilotta; nephew, David Bilotta and all of his relatives in Massachusetts and Italy.
Visitation will be at O.D White and Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S. 3rd St., Wednesday, November 24, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6105 S. 3rd St., Friday, November 26, 2010 at 10 a.m., where Tom was a lifelong member.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Berea College, 101 Chestnut St., Berea, KY 40403-1516 or to Alzheimer's Association , 6100 Dutchmans Lane, #401, Louisville, KY 40205-3284.
