Bellevue - Tadataka "Taka" Cho, 74, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother passed away at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue, WA on Wednesday, January 29th, 2014. He was the 4th son of the late Chang Mu Nien and Chang Chou Fong of Taipei, Taiwan. He is survived by his wife Masako Cho; daughter, Shinshin Nakagawa (Kotaro) of Hiroshima, Japan; son Masahito Cho (Katharine Grace) of Lexington, KY; grandson, Genta Nakagawa; grandson, Sota Nakagawa grandson; and grandson, Marcus Yuki Cho. Bellevue - Tadataka "Taka" Cho, 74, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother passed away at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue, WA on Wednesday, January 29th, 2014.



He was the 4th son of the late Chang Mu Nien and Chang Chou Fong of Taipei, Taiwan. He is survived by his wife Masako Cho; daughter, Shinshin Nakagawa (Kotaro) of Hiroshima, Japan; son Masahito Cho (Katharine Grace) of Lexington, KY; grandson, Genta Nakagawa; grandson, Sota Nakagawa grandson; and grandson, Marcus Yuki Cho.



Mr. Cho was born in Taipei, Taiwan on December 26th, 1939. In 1962, he received a law degree from the University of Taiwan. He moved to Tokyo, Japan in 1964. In 1968, he received a degree in architecture from University of Tokyo.



His professional work took him around the world including countries such as Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, and the USA, where he retired.



As an avid golfer, he has enjoyed his later years playing golf all around the state of Washington.



Service for Mr. Cho will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 1st, 2014, at Sunset Hills Funeral Home at 1215 145th PL SE, with Reverend Jeremy Shih officiating.
Arrangements under the direction of Sunset Hills Funeral Home, Bellevue, WA.
