Tarrance Rae Mianji
September 19, 1943 - June 30, 2014
Tarrance Mianji passed away June 30, 2014, at the Eagle Ridge of Grand Valley Care Center. She was 70.
Tarry was born on September 19, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota from the union of Frank and Dorothy Vessels. She spent her childhood in Grand Junction and graduated from Central High School. She attended Mesa State University and later the University of Maine where she obtained her Associates Degree in Information and Library Services.
Tarry was a Saleswoman for the majority of her life working in real estate and phone sales. She married Ciamak Mianji in Oceanside, California and they later divorced. She previously lived in Boca Raton, FL, Oceanside CA, Foothill Ranch, CA, and moved to Grand Junction, CO two years ago. She was a member of the Cribbage Club and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and traveling. She enjoyed expanding her knowledge of the world by attending classes in Stained Glass, Tai Chi, Taiko Drumming class and obtained her pilot's license and her house moving license. Friends and family will remember her saying "When the going gets tough, the tough get going". Tarry was a strong woman and did her best to pass that trait to her daughters.
Tarry leaves behind two daughters, Melanie Wilkinson of Washington, Pennsylvania, and Molly (Tony) Albino of Fort Lauderdale, FL; brother; Joe (Barbara) Vessels of Grand Junction, CO; sister, Lydia (Bob) Herron of Fruita, CO; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Thomas Charles Vessels and Katherine Ann Vessels and her daughter, Cynthia Luraschi.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Orchard Mesa Cemetery and a memorial service at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the Community Building, 2601 Belford Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501.

Melanie - I am so very sorry for your loss. I know that you have many wonderful memories with your Mom and I am sure they will always make you smile. You comforted her in the time when she needed it most. You are a wonderful daughter and I am sure she is smiling down on you and is grateful to have had you as hers.
