Obituary

Ted Ray Barrett, Retired Captain CCSO, age 80 of Dallas passed away June 21, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 25 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Jack Henry and Rev. Jeremy Clark officiating. Entombment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. Mr. Barrett is a native and lifelong resident of Cobb County. He is a retired Captain with the Cobb County Sheriff's Department, a member of Cheatham Hill Baptist Church and a 1952 graduate of Osborne High School. Mr. Barrett is a native and lifelong resident of Cobb County. He is a retired Captain with the Cobb County Sheriff's Department, a member of Cheatham Hill Baptist Church and a 1952 graduate of Osborne High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Mr. Barrett is preceded in death by his parents: Herman and Florence Barrett and siblings: Ernest W. Barrett, Bill Barrett and Edna Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Barrett

Son: Chris R. Barrett of Austell

Stepson: Jackie Hall of Thomaston

Stepdaughter: Kathy Clark of Hiram
