Born on January 25th, 1962 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon, Teresa Lynn Anderson was born healthy to Mark and Beve Anderson. Terri was baptized on February 25th, 1973, by Reverend Bernard Fritzke in the old Spanish style building of Bethany Baptist Church. Terri had two sisters, Tammi and Tonya, who grew up loving each other dearly. At the age of just three years old Terri was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her Thymus Gland. While they removed the tumor successfully they made the unfortunate discovery of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and was given three months to live. The next seven years were filled with Chemotherapy, blood and bone marrow tests, and many medications. During her sixth grade year they received a report that all of the Leukemia was gone, not in remission, but miraculously gone. The doctors were baffled but the Anderson family knew that God had answered their prayers and the prayers of their church family.
Terri graduated Sunset High School in 1980 and headed north to Edmonton, Alberta Canada to attend the North American Baptist College (NABC), now known as Taylor University. During this time at NABC, she focused on general studies and made many lifelong friends. After two years of college Terri moved back home to Portland where she worked a few jobs at a call center and as a teacher's aide before finally moving to The Dalles to work as a receptionist at a small Christian College.
During her stay in The Dalles she met Richard Michael Robinson (Mike), who she later married in 1987. They had two children together, Michael and Markel. Mike joined the Army and they moved around to Arizona and Hawaii. After five years of marriage, Terri and Mike separated and she moved back home to Portland, and became a single mother of two.
Times were tough for Terri but with the help of her family and the church she managed to do her best. Then, one day in 1998, Terri was rushed to the hospital with an extreme case Pneumonia, which almost took her life then. Terri was a fighter, spending nearly two months in the Intensive Care Unit, she slowly got better. This visit is when she received a tracheostomy, requiring her to survive using a ventilator. When she was well enough she was moved into an assisted living home.
Living in assisted care wasn't the easiest. She had many emergency hospital visits, in which she would overcome time and time again. Terri enjoyed her days when family and friends would come visit or take her out for Starbucks Coffee. She often spent her nights worrying about her two children and family. She was proud to see Michael serve in the Marine Corps and blessed to attend Markel's wedding in 2011 and Michael's wedding in 2012.
Having finished on that black and white checkered line Terri is now with the Lord, dancing and singing, free from this world's mortal coil. Having truly fought the good fight and never losing faith in God, her life will be remembered by all. She is survived by her parents Mark and Beve Anderson, two sisters Tammi and Tonya, 3 nephews Forest, Nathan, and Ryan, niece Savanah, son Michael Robinson and wife Brianne, and daughter Markel and husband Jeremy Williams.

Arrangements under the direction of Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Portland, OR.
