Terri was my teacher from kindergarten through 3rd grade and still occasionally worked with me in 4th and 5th. I recall her being an excellent teacher and always willing to explain even the most complicated things to her students. Sorry to see you gone so soon Mrs. Weinlander.

Terri was a great teacher to her friends. We both are teachers of visually impaired children and met during graduate school while working on our early childhood endorsements. I was fortunate to take over her early childhood special education classroom when she switched to general education. Our friendship grew over the years and she was always an important person to me and my family. You are in our prayers.

I always treasure my work with Terri as my supervising teacher in her resource room for students with visual impairment. I learned so much and try to keep Terri's talent through my work; now in my 30th year. Then I had the pleasure of working on our early childhood endorsements together at MSU. There were a lot of Taco Bell meals and pop enjoyed at that time. Most importantly, I enjoyed our friendship. I always loved getting updates on Stacey's happenings. Please know love and prayers are with you.

Terri was a real friend in my days of early parenthood. She wasn't just a face. She really tried to be there. She. Knew how to appreciate the talents and joys of our daughters, Maegan and Stacey. She took pride in their accomplishments. Her smile and infectious giggle made all of us laugh and feel proud, even if we were just being silly. With Terri we felt okay and a little bit better about ourselves. Leslie Houang
