In Remembrance of Terry Lee Jordan
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Portland for Terry Lee Jordan, who passed away suddenly in Portland, Oregon on October 7, 2016, age 56.
Terry was born on February 3, 1960 in Portland to Dwayne and Gayleen Jordan. He attended Hillsboro High School and Oregon Culinary Institute, and worked as a Chef for over twenty years at "Butcher's Bistro", and" Chaps and Spurs" before going to work as a" Mail Handler" for the U.S. Postal Service main office in Portland, a position he held for almost twenty years.
Terry was hardworking and considered to be a wonderful man and valuable employee by those he worked for. He loved gardening (especially planting his vegetables) camping, fishing and outdoor activities, and riding his bicycle. He was competitive and great at horseshoes, croquet, ping pong, and pool.
He was a Blazer, Seahawks, and Ducks fan, loved animals, and collected Budweiser steins.
Terry loved a large variety of music and was dabbling with learning Guitar.
Terry had a strong love for his savior, Jesus Christ. Terry used a book marker in his devotional which read:
Gracious Lord, no one rests well in times of anxiety, discouragement, or loneliness. But your presence scatters the dark shadows of fear, sadness, and Isolation. Bring your precious, sustaining promises to my heart…

RIP Terry Jordan. A great memory for me while growing up in Aloha was all the basketball, ping pong, croquet and bumper pool we used to play. And of course we can't forget me bugging you to play your records....for which you took meticulous care of. I remember having you play Alan Parsons and Marshal Tucker a lot. Great memories to never be forgotten.
