Terry Kay Moore, 58, of Connelly Springs, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 5, 2013. Born June 16, 1954, in Burke County, she was a daughter of the late Ivey Hillman Bowman and Annie Ruth Terry Bowman. In addition to her parents, Ms. Moore was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Louise Benfield. Terry loved to travel, and spending time with family and friends.
She will be remembered by three sons, Shane Duckworth and Troy Duckworth, both of Connelly Springs and David Duckworth, II, of Morganton;
A daughter, Tiffany Rae Moore, of Connelly Springs;
A brother, James Bowman, of Morganton;
A sister, Peggy Brittain, of Hildebran;
Seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces & nephews will also remember her.
A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton, with Chaplain Larry Cronk officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Services at the funeral home.
In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 1721 Enon Rd., Valdese, NC 28690.
