Thaddeus Staskiewicz Jr. "Ted" January 29th 1956 – November 1, 2013, Ted Staskiewicz, 57, of Sterling VA, died peacefully Friday November 1, 2013, at the INOVA Alexandria Hospital as a result of a massive brain bleed. Ted was born on January 29, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thaddeus Staskiewicz Sr. and his wife Helen. Ted is survived by his mother Helen, his sisters Diane (Fred) DiDio and Karen Staskiewicz, along with his family of friends here in Virginia. Ted Staskiewicz, 57, of Sterling VA, died peacefully Friday November 1, 2013, at the INOVA Alexandria Hospital as a result of a massive brain bleed. Ted was born on January 29, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thaddeus Staskiewicz Sr. and his wife Helen. Ted is survived by his mother Helen, his sisters Diane (Fred) DiDio and Karen Staskiewicz, along with his family of friends here in Virginia. Ted was currently employed as a consultant for contract management at TWD and Associates in Arlington VA.
Ted graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Horticulture followed by a masters degree in Meteorology from Penn State University. A job then brought Ted to the Washington D.C. area where he established his home and developed friendships that lasted nearly thirty years. In death as in life Ted continued his giving ways by donating his organs to those in need.
Visitation Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, 8:45 from Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to St. Christina Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery , Justice, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the or .
