We have so many fond memories of Thelma; at Ocean City, Maryland with all the Family, such fun!! Visiting at her home in Maryland with Albert, eating so many crabs; enjoying all the Shell Crafts and while visiting in Ft. Meyers actually shelling on the beach at 5:00 am. She was always a welcoming hostess, always with a smile and always ready to serve HOME MADE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, THE BEST!!
She will always be in our memories.

Thelma was an inspiration who we have long admired. With her warm smile and quiet laugh, she lived a full life nurturing so many. She treasured her family and adopted their many friends and their families. She stepped softly through life and left a huge impression on all who had the privilege to know her. With a gentle soul and strong spirit, she will live on in the many hearts she touched.

One of the first, great, smiles I met, when I moved to New Bern. Will be missed, but will, always, be remembered with a smile.
