Thelma M. Beard, 61, of Fremont passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Thelma was born May 7, 1953 in Keystone, West Virginia to the late John and Mary (Christian) Lambert. She married David A. Beard on December 2, 1972. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2000.
Thelma was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and the company of her two dogs, Pebbles and Mickey.
Surviving are her children: David S. (Sheri) Beard of Dallas, TX; Michelle (Buck) Barney of Green Springs, OH; Karla (Stanley) Pugh of Fremont, OH; 7 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Kenneth Lambert of Fremont, OH and a sister, Shirley Pound of San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Marc A. Beard, four brothers: Dennis, Ralph, Isaac and Howard Lambert; five sisters: Hallie Bishop, Pat Graham, Elsie Gibson, Janet Kay Duncan and Norma Cook.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:30A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice or the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kokm.net
