In Loving Memory of
Thelma Lennia Lajeunesse (Hager)
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mother, Nana and best friend Thelma Lennia Lajeunesse (Hager) after a short battle with cancer.
Thelma (known as Nana to all) was born December 30, 1927 to Helga and Albin Hager and was raised in Laclu along with her eight siblings: Carl, Harold, Albert, Arthur, Alvin, Eva, Ruby and Viola.
Thelma met and married Reg Lajeunesse in 1947 and in over 50 years of marriage raised six children: Dennis (Barb), Cal (predeceased, 1999) (Wendy), Pat Olson (Dale), Shirley Rumpel (Ron), Melody Alcock, Lisa Gagnon (Marcel). She also has two godchildren, Connie Ahola and Bonnie Robb.
Nana had 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren who have many memories to cherish of endless hours spent swimming off the dock or simply hanging out on Beach Road. Nana was the pillar of our family. She loved each and every one of us unconditionally with all her heart, leaving us all with life long memories to cherish.
Her strength came from her great faith in the Lord. Her church family at New Beginnings were very special to her.
Rest in peace Nana; you will be truly missed.
We love you.
Pallbearers will be Thelma's grandsons Clay Lajeunesse, Ben Lajeunesse, Jon Olson, Chris Hagloff, Cody Hagloff and Justin Harper.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, with Pastors Bill and Carol Lawson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cancer Society or charity of choice.

Its been a month since you passed nothings the same anymore without you here.I drive passed your house now and then and i get choked up from all the memories. We used to be able to just walk in and have you greet us either sitting in your chair or walking out of your bedroom.Every time i walk in its different i stand waiting to hear you say "come sit down and tell me a story" I miss you Nana keep a eye on us all down here God knows we all need your guidance as we continue moving forward trying to do what we believe you would want us to do.Keep watching Nana theirs big things to come, big mountains to climb but i know your there every step of the way cheering us on.

Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there I do not sleep Iam a thousand winds that blow. Iam the diamond glints on snow. Iam the sun on ripening grain. Iam the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hushed light, Iam the up-fling of birds in flight. Iam the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry Iam not there. I did not die

Aunty Thelma was an incredible person. The memories that I have of her will always remind me to love everyone unconditionally and to try my best at everything I do. She showed so much kindness and love to others that I hope one day that I can be as great as she was. She always had a smile and was always laughing, and she always gave great advice and wasn't afraid to put you in place if you needed it. She was most fun person I ever knew and she will be sorely missed and remembered very much. Love you Aunty and thank you for being my hero.
My condolences goes out to all of Aunty Thelma's family and extended family. May she be laughing and enjoying life above as she did here on earth.

Jody & Rick Simpson
I will always remember the last time we took Grandma to visit Aunt Thelma and we went to the farm is was fun to listen to them talk about the old times. I can also picture when we dropped the two of them off at church and Rick and I watched the two of them helping each other in and saying " The blind leading the blind" She was a funny lady and will be missed
We are thinking of you all at this time and wish we were there

Grandkids
They say that nobody lives forever but i was hoping God would make a exception in this case.As long as I can remember my grandmother always shared with me the importance of faith. My grandmother was a very religious woman, but would never preach her faith. She showed me how a belief in God helped shape her life. I owe my grandmother for my passion and faith in God.
My grandmother always stood by her family though the goodtimes and the bad she was each of our biggest fan.No matter what us grandkids good or bad she always supported us..she taught us how to live, love and how to do it with grace i will never forget the memories or the life lessons i love you nana!!
